Indigenous Cultural Celebration

Community members are invited to the Indigenous Cultural Celebration marking the beginning of Indigenous History Month, celebrating the rich and diverse cultures of the Indigenous Peoples of Turtle Island.

Enjoy a variety of performances and interactive workshops led by First Nations, Inuit and Métis presenters and storytellers. Event highlights include:

🔸 Family Area: Storytelling, craft making, and interactive activities.
🔸 Education Area: Water teachings, workshops, and demonstrations.
🔸 Vendors: A selection of food and merchandise vendors showcasing and selling their creations and artwork.
🔸 Main Stage: Presentations include hand drumming, traditional dancing, storytelling, and more.

🏆 Recently awarded @FEOntario the Indigenous Cultural Celebration has received awards for Best New Festival, Top 100 Festival and the FEO Impact Award.
