Climate Town Hall (+ Community Clean Up)

Join the Office of Campus Infrastructure and Sustainability for a Climate Town Hall at Ontario Tech’s Downtown Campus. This is an event to encourage the community to discuss thoughts, feelings, ideas, and worries regarding the climate crisis. 

There will also be an opportunity to engage with local environmental organizations such as A Greener Future, Plant Based Treaty, Friends of Second Marsh and Climate Justice Durham.

Light refreshments will be served. The town hall will be followed by a community cleanup of Downtown Oshawa facilitated by A Greener Future.

Agenda

11:00: Event starts, participants are welcome to visit various booths and enjoy light refreshments.

11:30: Town hall discussion begins.

1:00: Town hall discussion concludes.

1:30: Downtown Oshawa cleanup with A Greener Future.
