🐾🎉 Kitten Shower at the Orrington Public Library! 🎉🐾
What’s a kitten shower, you ask? It’s a fun and heartwarming event to support our furry friends in need! We’re teaming up with the amazing Pixel Fund Rescue—a group doing incredible work rescuing kittens across the state. Right now, they’re overwhelmed with adorable kittens and could really use our help!
📅 Join us on Thursday, August 15th at the library to:
🐱 Meet a representative from The Pixel Fund
📋 Learn about the adoption process or fill out an interest form
😻 Meet some of the sweet kittens looking for loving homes!
🎨 Kids can enjoy a cat-themed craft and, of course, meet the kittens too!
Want to help but can’t make it on the 15th?
No problem! We’ll be collecting donations at the library from now through the event.
Suggested Donation Items: (we also have a paper flyer with more ideas at the library)
Kitten food (wet & dry – any brand, but high-quality preferred)
Kitten formula (KMR or similar)
Clumping unscented litter
Litter boxes
Toys (small and safe for kittens)
Blankets & small beds
Cleaning supplies (unscented baby wipes, laundry detergent, bleach)
Gift cards to pet stores (PetSmart, Petco, etc.)
Let’s show our community spirit and help these tiny puffballs get the care—and homes—they deserve! 💛
