Blacksmithing: Make a Complete Knife

Saturday & Sunday, Aug. 9 & 10, 9-3, Blacksmithing: Make a Complete Knife with Instructor Dwight King. This is our popular knife making class. You can be a beginner. You will forge a blade and tang using a propane forge. You will file, grind and sand your blade. You will do the two part tempering process. You will create and fit a brass rivet and hard wood scales knife handle. Wear natural fiber clothing and footwear. Safety eyewear with side shields, ear plugs, leather gloves, and a metal work hammer 2.5 lbs. Call: 207-205-4849. Pay to register. $295
