Preserving Your History Series: Oral History

Learn the art of documenting your family’s history with oral history! This practice has long existed as a way to pass stories down generation to generation. Learn how to document these oral histories, the questions you might want to ask your family members, and more! Additionally, we will have a lightbox available so you can photograph any family heirlooms.

Every participant will be provided with a Gaylord Archival® Waterproof Stone Paper Notebook to get you started on your oral history journey! This special three-part series is presented in conjunction with the Orlando Collected exhibit which celebrates the City of Orlando’s 150th anniversary.
