Let the rhythm move you in an evening with Dimas Sánchez. The distinguished Puerto Rican percussionist and the Afro-Latin Jazz Project return with their dynamic blend of Afro-Puerto Rican rhythms and jazz, playing original compositions as well jazz standards with new Afro-Latin-infused arrangements.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Dimas Sánchez is an accomplished drummer and percussionist from Puerto Rico, currently based in Orlando. Dimas has collaborated with the Xavier Cougat Orchestra, Taller de Jazz Don Pedro, David Sánchez, Giovanni Hidalgo, Eddie “GuaGua” Rivera, Milly Puente, Gabriel Hernandez, Nestor Torres, Chuchito Valdes and many more. His musical repertoire includes playing and producing Latin jazz recordings with Eddie “GuaGua” Rivera's Opus Mundi, his own group, Fusion Beat, as well as his latest collaboration with the Afro-Latin Jazz Project.
