Welcome to OUT Sports League DODGEBALL!
If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball. OUT Sports League provides fun, recreational, and social sports leagues to Central Florida's LGBTQ+ community. Our Dodgeball league is designed to be inclusive of people of skill levels and backgrounds. We use no-sting dodgeballs to create a fun, fast-paced environment. We play at the Englewood Neighborhood which has a huge gym with a built-in court divider, ample parking and convenient location near the 408 Expressway.
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠𝗦. However, you may register without a team as a FREE AGENT (you can also list a buddy who you want to play with) and the league will place you on a team. The league is open to players of any skill level with a competitive and recreational division with different playing formats.
There will be a maximum of 8 teams with exactly 104 players in the competitive division and 4 teams with a total of 64 players in the recreational division. Once a division hits capacity, we will assign FREE AGENTS to any team that does not have a full roster. Players who want to join the league or a team after the league hits capacity will be added to a waitlist.

8 Week Dodgeball Season
Mondays from July 14 - September 8
No games on September 1 (Labor Day)
Games take place between 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
All games refereed and use no-sting rubber dodgeballs
𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁
- Utilizes a full court with a neutral zone, this less intense format is recommended for new and developing players. Teams will play one 50-minute match each week. 10v10 on the court, teams of 16 players.
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁
- Traditional dodgeball format without a neutral zone, recommended for more experienced players. Teams will play two 25-minute matches each week. 8v8 on the court, teams of 13 players.

𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗧 - Don't have a team? No problem! Register without a team and you can list friends you want to play with. When the league hits capacity registration will close and you will be placed on one of the existing teams.

Yes, all teams have extra players on them just in case you're absent on a given week. Teams can also use substitute players.

During registration there is a field where you can list the friend(s) you want to play with and the league will place you together.
