Come join us for a fun and laid-back intro to wine! This class is perfect if you're looking to build your wine knowledge and sharpen your tasting skills. This is perfect if you are a wine lover and want to start your wine education journey. We'll explore 8 different wines together while covering:

The most popular grape varieties
Key wine regions around the world
How wine is made, from grape to glass
Tasting tips to make you feel like a pro
How to match wine with food
The basics of serving, storing, and buying wine
We’ll chat about pairing food and wine and Perry Culinary Services and La Femme Du Fromage will be offering for sale a cheese board that you can purchase before the class so you can tag along the experience.
Class will be hosted by Mary Montalvo. She is a Certified WSET Educator, Diploma of Wine Wine Student and Certified Rioja Educator. She boasts over 15 years of experience in the wine industry and her aim is to make wine education easy and fun to learn.
Class includes all class materials, presentation, access to instructor, 6 wines to taste and certificate of competition. You will also be able to enjoy our Pop-up wine bar for the evening and enjoy a glass of wine before or after the class.
