Agroforestry 101: Learning, Observing & Gathering

Join us for a foundational day at Everoak Farm where we’ll dive into the principles of agroforestry, walk the system in development, manage the existing rows, and gather propagation material to prepare for planting. This is a day to connect, learn, and observe the forest before we build it.

In this immersive, hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the fundamentals of agroforestry—a regenerative farming approach that blends trees, crops, and people in harmony. Together, we’ll walk through Everoak’s system-in-progress, learn about different species and system design, help maintain the existing rows, and gather propagation materials to prepare for future planting.

This is a chance to slow down and connect with the land, the vision, and the community behind it all. Whether you're a beginner or experienced grower, this day sets the stage for everything that follows.

About Everoak Farm:Everoak Farm is a 3-acre, family-run farm just outside Orlando, operated by Mike and Nikki Garcia. Since 2019, they’ve focused on regenerative agriculture and syntropic urban forestry to grow seasonal fruits and vegetables, build living soil, and foster a thriving on-farm ecosystem. The farm features non-GMO, pasture-raised poultry, small-batch honey from on-site bee colonies, and composting in partnership with O-Town Compost to support long-term soil health and sustainability.
