Bat Monitoring

Bats are endangered species threatened by disease and habitat loss, are being closely monitored by the Couchiching Conservancy Bat Monitoring Teams. Using specialized technology, we can track and identify at least five species found in the area.

Join us for an evening walk along the Severn River, led by Citizen Scientists Katrina Hunt and Bill & Vicki Sherwood. Experience bats in their natural habitat, learn about their critical role in the ecosystem, and see conservation science in action!
