*** Please arrive at 6pm if you have are new to Shamanic Journeying! We will give you an introduction to the practice so that you will feel more prepared to participate in the Circle.
The vision of this Circle is to create a place where our relationships with Spirit and Earth are held as sacred reality: a place to nurture spiritual community, a place to deepen shamanic spiritual practice, a place to learn and share.
As a Circle, we affirm our connection to the sacred hoop of life and honor the relatedness of all beings. We seek to create a space that is open, non-judgmental and mutually supportive; a space where all can feel safe. Mitakuye Oyasin! (All My Relatives!) ~ Lakota

Drum and Journey Circle is facilitated by Sarah Sirios. Sarah has been listening and working with helping spirits for four decades. She began teaching herself yoga at age 8 in her parent's basement, and subsequently discovered herself as a lifelong seeker of spiritual understanding and experience. She studied and practiced meditation for many years in the vedic traditions of self-inquiry, and has also worked closely with Anishinaabe and Dakota elders over many years. Sarah is trained in the traditions of her root shamanic teacher Myron Eshowsky whom she met 40 years ago. In 1993, Sarah was led to a place in the Shining Mountains where she met the Guardian Spirits who would become her primary spirit guides and teachers.
"My work with traditional spiritual practices is informed by a deep love of nature, and an appreciation for the sacredness of all life, beginning with the being we call Earth. I experienced a vision many years ago where a council of Earth beings communicated that the animals and plants and stones are our ancestors and teachers, since we are, in fact, the latest arrivals in this place. At this time many of us are being called back into relationship with the non-human world, with the ancestors and spirits. As we step back into deeper spiritual connection, we will experience both monumental and subtle shifts in our consciousness and understanding. We are being called to return to the sacred hoop, so that all might survive, and one day thrive again".
