Resistance Bible Study

We will be meeting in the "Parlor" - enter from the parking lot ramp - use the "Church Office" door.

This is a weekly Spiritual Studies group. We will be studying "Resistance" as a spiritual discipline in these troubled times.

Faithfully following Jesus’ law of love compels us to stand up for social justice—especially on behalf of the most vulnerable among us. The concept of resistance is multifaceted, encompassing everything from personal perseverance to active defiance against injustice and oppressive authority. While the Bible offers direct guidance on certain forms of resistance, it also presents nuanced insights into various expressions of opposition, struggle, and endurance. Rooted in love, this faithful resistance becomes a powerful witness to God's justice and compassion in a broken world.

We're meeting at 11am - feel free to bring some snacks - we'll probably coordinate food in case we want to make this a lunch/brunch weekly event!
