Join us for our 3rd Annual Boat Parade on the 4th of July! We still need a few HELPERS FOR OUR tasks so that this year’s parade can run smoothly💙❤️💙. See the needs list at bottom and SIGN UP TODAY in the Comment Section of this post. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE!
THEME: Patriotic, Red, White, and Blue
LOCATION: we will line up in front of the Harold’s Landing Dock on the Northwest side of Wolf Lake
TIME: line up begins at 12:45, PARADE starts right at 1:00 after the Patriotic Song plays and the horn blows!
DETAILS: boats will stay in a single file line and follow the LEAD BOAT around Wolf Lake, through the channel into Allen, through the channel into Meadow.
ALL NEW:
The parade will END AT THE BEACH and we will gather on shore to enjoy a lite lunch together! Hot dogs and chips WILL BE PROVIDED. BYOB and please remember to clean up after yourselves before you leave.
BOAT DETAILS: decorated pontoons preferred but ANY boat you have and want to decorate is welcome…kayaks too!! Feel free to dress the passengers up as well!!!
DO NOT HAVE A BOAT BUT YOU STILL WANT TO PARTICIPATE?
Join us along the shore line of any of the three lakes and clap, hoot, or holler as the boats pass by!!
NEEDS LIST:
1. A LEAD BOAT CARRYING AND WAVING A LARGE U.S. Flag
2. A boat with a very LOUD sound system to meet in the middle of the line up to PLAY GOD BLESS AMERICA at the START of the parade
(JJ and Taylor???)
3. A camera person to drive by and make a video of all boats in the parade (Greg???)
4. A volunteer to be the LAST BOAT in the parade carrying and waving the U.S. Flag….
