Framer: Create website without code

DesignBoat is thrilled to announce the 2nd edition of Framer workshop: a No-Code tool for every designers.

In this hands-on session designers will learn how to build a portfolio website from the ground up, starting with storytelling and structure then bringing their designs to life in Framer all without writing a single line of code!

In the workshop you'll learn:

Day 1: Getting Started with Framer

• Introduction to Framer: Why it's perfect for portfolio websites
• Understanding Layers, Frames, and Positioning
• Mastering Stacks and Layouts
• Project structure breakdown and a quick hands-on exercise

Day 2: Fundamentals of Framer

• Smart sizing: Fill, Fit, Min, Max techniques
• Adding and arranging Text, Videos, Images, and Links
• Anatomy of a Perfect Portfolio Website
• Figma to Framer
• Practical exercise session

Day 3: Kickstarting Your Portfolio + Intro to Animations

• Beginning your Portfolio Design in Framer
• Creating simple Animations: Hover, Drag, Loop & Press interactions
• Designing for Responsive Mobile Views   
• Mastering Appear, Transform, Scroll

Day 4: Final Touches and Launch

• Cursor and Scroll Variants
• Completing your Portfolio Website
• Review, Feedback
• Publish

Note: Having understanding of website design and figma tool is a must.

It's a 4 day's workshop conducted on 2 weekend starting from 28th Feb 2026.
