ABCi Poced QI (Virtual)- 2025 Open Session Dates

PocEd QI is an ideal introduction or refresher to quality improvement (QI), where individuals and teams within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) come together to learn about the fundamentals of improvement theory and practice.

Aimed at all staff groups within ABUHB, PocEd QI will introduce you to the following:

• Model for Improvement

• QI tools and techniques you can use to understand what is happening now

• Develop measures to progress towards your aim and use data for improvement

• Using creativity to develop ideas and test if these work in practice using PDSA (Plan Do Study Act) cycles.

If you want to know what QI is all about, are part of a team looking to improve their service, or are wondering how you can get involved with QI, PocEd QI is for you.

How to book:

There are 5 open session cohorts of PocEd QI for 2025. The cohort dates are below. Each cohort is split into two parts and is designed to be interactive, reflective, and just a little bit fun! Virtual delivery is via Microsoft Teams.

When booking please select the relevant cohort via the Part 1 date, and ensure you can attend the corresponding Part 2 date for that cohort month. Microsoft Teams invites will be sent out following your booking.
