Curiosity Station: Designed by Nature

Have you ever had one of those sticky things attach themself to you while you were on a hike or playing in the creek? Did you ever think about a “burr’s” unique characteristics and their comparison to Velcro’s functionality?

What about the similarities between a turtle shell and a helmet? Can you find similar characteristics in their function and form? This Curiosity Station will offer guests the opportunity to learn and interact with various forms of biomimicry. Come see what there is to learn from nature’s own structures and processes.

Curiosity Stations are pop-up engagements offering an opportunity for curious minds of all ages to experiment with practical applications of scientific principles.
