Olympia Spring Mushroom Festival

Join the South Sound Mushroom Club for our 4th Annual Spring Mushroom Festival. Celebrate the end of winter and the start of morel season!

Special guest Aaron Hilliard from the Mushroom Wonderland YouTube Channel will be giving two lectures.

Mushroom tastings featuring morels, oysters and other wild mushrooms that can be found here in the springtime.

Vendors selling wonderful mushroom arts and crafts as well as cultivated mushrooms.

Kid Zone filled with educational activities for children.

Craft Cave for artsy folks of all ages.

ID Station - Bring any recent mushrooms you've found in your garden or walks to our Identification Station to be identified by experts, and see other specimens brought in that have been IDed and put on display.

The South Sound Mushroom Club will have an outreach table. We are a non-profit club offering monthly meetings, forays and mushroom walks, campouts, and other fun and educational activities aimed at educating members about mycology. You can also learn about our scholarship program and maybe even apply!

Best of all, this event is FREE! Bring your friends. We do advise carpooling if possible as parking fills up fast, expect street parking and a possible walk.

Location is Capital Vision Church, 1775 Yew Ave, NE, Olympia, WA 98506. 10 AM to 3 PM. This year we have the entire inside of the building as well as the grass lawn adjacent to the building. See you there, fungal friend!
