Mary's home is a little sanctuary. Her music room is a cozy and intimate space where you can admire the performance feeling part of it. The peaceful garden has a little koi pond and a waterfall that you'll enjoy with a glass of wine and interestings conversations with other atendees before and after the music happens.
Marina Albero and Evan Flory-Barnes started playing together in 2016 and became a very solid rhtyhm section while Albero was developing her music right when she moved to Seattle from Barcelona, Spain. Now that she is living in New Orleans, this concert is a very special reunion of two musicians who know very well each other's musical universes.
The journey will take you to Cuba, Spain, New Orleans and Persia as Albero will also be playing the psalterium (Hammered dulcimer) in her unique style.
