Late Spring Plant ID & Hot Tea

Late spring offers a bounty of plants for the northwest forager to learn about — let’s walk the trails at Burfoot Park to study the new shoots, needles, shrubs, and plants that can serve as prized local edibles! This in-field class will guide students towards confident identification through botany features and anatomy. As we meander through the woods, the instructors will also facilitate conversations around honorable harvesting and sustainable foraging. The outing will conclude with wild tea made from local plants!
