Little Veterinarian School Summer Camp: Future Horse Vets and Marine Biologists Ages 6- 11 - Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School

July 21 - 25, Mon - Fri, Full 5 Day

Children and horses have a unique and special bond! Our future veterinarians will begin their learning by adopting and naming their own plush horse that they will take home by the end of the camp. They will learn many basic practical information about horses, creating the ideal horse farm, and important anatomy and maintenance of a horse. Some of the key parts discussed are hooves, tail, mane, teeth, organs, and bones. Maintenance lessons include bridling, saddling, brushing, feeding, exercising, and shoeing. In addition, students will enjoy journey to becoming a marine biologist. Students will complete experiments and projects to gain an understanding of the ocean and its many inhabitants.
