Think you’re funny or love a good laugh?
Either way, join us at Hub Town Brewing’s Amateur Stand-Up Comedy Competition, running monthly from February through August, with a grand finale showdown at the end that promises big laughs and even bigger bragging rights!!
Here’s the deal:
- Each month, amateur comedians will take the stage for up to 5 minutes each to show the audience their best material.
- Comedians earn points just for getting up there (participation points) and extra points for making the crowd laugh out loud (of course, being funny pays off).
- Points accumulate over the months, and in August's Finale, the top 10 comedians will battle it out in a hilarious final showdown to crown Hub Town’s comedy champion - and there's even prizes for the top three!
Audience Members:
You’re invited to join us to cheer, laugh, AND TO JUDGE! Who knows? You might witness and even crown, the next Nate Bargatze, honing their craft right here in Okotoks! AND tickets are only $5 so this could be the cheapest date night of the month!
For the Comedians:
It’s all about having a great time and sharing your humor, but there ARE PRIZES for you if you make it to the top three in August!! But don't worry, no matter what, we're buying you a beer just for stepping up to the mic!
