- Care and management of laying and broiler hens, including nutrition, housing, and daily upkeep
- Maintaining flock health and practicing effective biosecurity to prevent disease
- Safe, research-based methods for preserving eggs and poultry meat, such as freezing, pickling, and pressure canning
