Join the local Dagorhir Kingdom of Alterra, Amtgard Park of Falcon's Moon, SCA Barony of Wiesenfeuer and any other boffer combat or Medieval and Fantasy enthusiast friends in the Pridefest Parade to Scissor-tail Park.
Last year was a big success with little time to plan, and we got lots of exposure, nice garb pictures, and got to spread the word about our communities. We stunned at least one live announcer with “Is that a wizard!?”
This year, we have a good two months of planning this time and a truck and trailer for riders and decoration.
Garb, uniforms, jerseys, banners, and equipment/gear is highly encouraged but not required. We just want to make it obvious who we are and that people are welcome in our communities.
Plan for about a mile walk in the late June sun and garb accordingly.

Based on what we did last year (subject to change) we will be lining up between 9:00-11:00 a.m. On Walker Ave. I will have more details about our place in the coming months. The parade will start promptly at 11:00 a.m.
The route will be from Walker Ave. from Couch, south to Oklahoma City Blvd., turning east on Oklahoma City Blvd., and ending at South Robinson Ave.
Last year we where able to park near the parade start and end, this year I intend to organize a shuttle service and a carpool so that we can coordinate rides from the end at the park back to people’s cars. More to come on that later.
