Jazz Scholarship Auditions

Calling all High School seniors and college musicians!!

Here is your chance to earn a scholarship from the West Texas Jazz Society!

Odessa Marriott Hotel and Conference Center
Devonian Ballroom
3:00 pm

Choose one of the following works:
"Take the A Train" - Duke Ellington
"Satin Doll" - Due Ellington
"Song for my Father" - Horace Silver

You will play the "head" (melody) improvise 1 chorus, and play the melody again. (3 times through, total).

Backup band will be provided.

Winner gets $500 towards a college degree, 2nd place gets $250.
