Yoga Techniques

A detailed guided practice focused on learning and refining specific yoga postures with the use of props. Class will emphasize proper alignment, body awareness, and the mindful connection between breath and movement. The aim is to build strength, flexibility, and mental clarity.

Centering:
Preparing the body and mind for the practice.

Posture instruction:
Detailed explanation of each pose, including alignment cues and modifications for different bodies. Physical assists and verbal cues are provided throughout the class.

Breathwork:
Focus on breathing techniques to enhance the practice, such as deep inhales and exhales coordinated
with movements.

Prop usage:
Utilizing props like blocks, straps, or blankets to assist in achieving proper alignment and accessibility.

Mindfulness:
Encouragement to stay present in the body and observe sensations without judgment.

Restore:
A final resting pose!

*You will receive hands-on adjustments in poses unless explicitly expressed that you do not want them.*
