We're taking over the inspiring grounds of the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton for a day of thrilling rallies and Patriotic volleys as we salute Flag Day in true artistic style!

We're serving up a round-robin masterpiece with four dynamic pools, ensuring you get at least three action-packed games to showcase your skills (or discover your inner pickleball master piece!). The top two winners from each pool will then battle it out in a thrilling single-elimination bracket until one victorious team is crowned our very first champion! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just picking up a paddle, all skill levels are welcome! The energy promises to be a work of art!

We're passionate about showcasing the incredible positive impact of pickleball on both mental and physical well-being, and we want to introduce this accessible and joyful sport to veterans and their supporters of all ages and abilities, right here in the heart of our artistic community.

Calling All Players! (Limited Canvases Available!)
We've got the courts ready for 32 dynamic teams, split into two exciting divisions:
The "Fresh Strokes" Division (2.0-3.0): Are you new to the game or still sketching your strategy? This is your gallery!
Pool Play: 16 teams will be divided into four pools of 4, guaranteeing at least 3 thrilling round-robin matches.
Seeding: Get ready for the bracket reveal! For the single-elimination round, top pool finishers will be seeded 1-4, and second-place finishers will be seeded 5-8.
Brackets: Quarterfinals, here we come! The winners advance to the semifinals, which is the ultimate championship showcase!
The "Masterful Movers" Division (3.0-3.5): Ready to exhibit your expert technique? This is where the competition becomes a true spectacle!

The Fine Details (Important Notes, Artfully Arranged):
Tiebreakers: Head-to-head results will break any ties in pool play.
Prize Palette! Podium finishers will have a shot at winning fantastic pickleball paddles from our amazing sponsors!
Swag Sketchbook! Participants will receive a cool swag bag filled with goodies and a free raffle ticket for even more sponsored treasures!
Commemorate the Creation! You'll also receive a special Tournament Shirt.
Artistic License: VIP reserves the right to adjust the schedule or format to ensure a harmonious and enjoyable event.
Performance Time! Be prepared to play multiple matches throughout the day.
Scoring: All matches will be played to 11 points, with a win by 2 points.
Third Place Showcase: The semifinalists will compete in a third-place match—a chance for one last artistic expression on the court!
Weather as Our Muse: This is an outdoor event. We'll do our best to play on June 14th, even if the weather adds a touch of drama. Stay tuned for any updates!
Footwear Fundamentals: We strongly encourage everyone to wear proper athletic footwear designed for pickleball to ensure comfort and prevent slips or falls on our outdoor gallery.
Bring Your Brush (Paddle)! If you have your paddle, please bring it! We'll have a limited number of loaners available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Refund Remembrance: No refunds will be issued as this fundraising event supports our Veterans. We are committed to making this a memorable and impactful day at the Workhouse!
