Roberts Road Adopt-A-Highway

Get your steps in and cleanup our community. The Village participates in the Adopt-A-Highway program, helping keep Roberts Road clean from River to Willow.

Contribute 1-2 hours of your time to connect with your neighbors, socialize, and get some exercise that will beautify Roberts Road.

Meet at Village Hall at 8am for a brief safety overview. You will be provided tools - gloves, grabbers, buckets, bags, and safety vests - and head out in two teams to the north and south drop spots on Roberts road. Rain or shine, but not storms.

Volunteers may be as young as 10 if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The Illinois Adopt-A-Highway program brings citizen volunteers into partnerships with IDOT to pick up trash and keep our roadsides clean. The program also educates and encourages people to stop littering. Through the cleanup efforts of more than 10,000 Adopt-A-Highway volunteers throughout Illinois, visitors and tourists have a better first impression of our state and roadways are safer because of less roadside debris.
