Join us for an entertaining and insightful talk from Ted Dang, co-founder and board member of EBALDC (East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation). Though known for decades of impact in community development and advocacy in Oakland Chinatown, Ted will share his lifelong passion for comic book collecting—and how it can be both fun and financially rewarding.
A proud Oakland native and UC Berkeley graduate, Ted’s leadership helped launch EBALDC’s first major project, the Asian Resource Center. His deep roots in Chinatown and experience in real estate and social change shaped his career, but his interest in comics has long been a personal joy.
