Celebrate your birthday stories (even if it’s not your birthday!)

Blowing out candles that refuse to extinguish. The hilariously terrible gift from your well-meaning aunt. The moment you realized your "surprise" party wasn't actually a surprise (but pretended anyway).

Whether you're a birthday enthusiast or someone who mysteriously "gets food poisoning" every year on your special day—we all have birthday stories to tell!

Join Story Coach Liz Morrison for a special BIRTHDAY-themed edition of Storytime—coinciding with her milestone 40th birthday weekend! 🎉

Our evening unfolds in three engaging acts:

🎂 THEME INTRO: We'll explore birthdays through playful games and group discussions. Liz will kick things off with her own tale of a 21st birthday spent alone at an LA hostel... (you'll have to come hear what happened!)

💬 COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS: In small groups using guided conversation prompts, you'll swap stories about birthday traditions, astrological insights (calling all Geminis!), memorable celebrations, and the birthday mishaps that still make you laugh years later.

🎤 STORYTIME! EXCELLENT!: 3-5 brave souls can share their birthday stories with the whole group—the hilarious, the heartwarming, and everything in between.

MEET YOUR HOST LIZ MORRISON:

Liz Morrison is a is a Story Coach who helps ambitious professionals and innovative teams unlock the power of their personal stories. Through interactive workshops, coaching, and community events, Liz guides people to communicate confidently, connect authentically, and spark positive personal and professional growth. After spending 15 years telling stories for companies like Airbnb, the Obama campaign, and even a Bravo dating show, Liz now creates transformative spaces where people discover their storytelling superpowers.

Turning 40 marks a special milestone in Liz's own narrative journey. Having built a business centered around helping others find meaning in their experiences, she's excited to practice what she preaches by celebrating this chapter transition surrounded by the community that has shaped her story. Liz believes that our stories inspire us to care about each other, and that care motivates us to build a better future for ourselves, each other, and the world.
