Roller Derby Discovery Day - 27th April

We are holding two discovery days to give you an idea of what roller derby is about and for you to put on some skates to see if it is something you might want to do! The days are just £5 each.

PLEASE NOTE: You don’t need to go to both days as they will be the same info. It’s so that if you can’t do one date, hopefully you can make the other one.

After the two Discovery Days we will be running a 6 week course which if you decide it is for you, you can get a ticket for. This will cost £30 for the 6 weeks. Then after the course you will get the chance to join the league for real!

What to expect
You will be welcomed by our current members and given a big of kit. You will then do some off skates warm ups before getting your skates on for a try! You don’t have to have any experience, we have very experienced coaches to help with that. But if you do already know how to skate, even better!

We will then give you the low down on what roller derby is about and give you some demos using our players.

What to bring
Bring a water bottle and wear leggings (or something else where you can put knee pads over the top) and a vest or t-shirt.
