This space is for you if you’ve been trying to stay alive inside while keeping everything else afloat.
For the parents, the caregivers, the overfunctioners. For the former artists, the working creatives, the quiet seekers. For the ones who used to write, or want to—but can’t find the words, or the time, or the reason. For anyone who has something stirring inside but hasn’t had the space to meet it.
No performance. No pressure. Just a room, a circle, a shared breath—and an invitation to come home to yourself.
This circle was born from my own creative recovery journey—of trying to keep everything going while feeling slowly disconnected from my soul. I created this space because I know what it feels like to lose your voice in the busyness of caregiving, responsibility, and performance. I also know what it feels like to find it again—and how much easier that is when we don’t do it alone.
This is a space for the ones who:
You might not call it pain, exactly. It might feel more like:
This isn’t a productivity space—it’s a healing space. A sacred pause to slow down, reconnect with your voice, and be reminded that you’re still in there.
What to Expect
Each month follows a familiar arc designed to restore your connection with your body, your truth, and your creative energy:
✨ What You’ll Receive
This space isn’t about becoming more productive. It’s about becoming more present.
Through this circle, you may experience:
This space supports:
You don’t need to consider yourself a writer or artist to belong here. You just need to be willing to show up with your breath and your truth.
Meet Your Guide
Kelly Jo Lillian is a writer, creative guide, and trauma-informed educator with over a decade of experience helping people reconnect with their voice, creativity, and sense of aliveness.
She spent over 12 years working in theater, where she first learned the power of storytelling, community, and expression as tools for healing and connection. As a director and producer, she led V-Day events that empowered women to step onto the stage, reclaim their stories, and raise awareness and funds for the Coalition Against Trafficking in Women and Children.
For the past 11 years, Kelly Jo has taught special education in the South Bronx, where she became deeply grounded in trauma-informed practices. Her classroom has long been a space where creativity and emotional safety go hand in hand—and those same values now live at the center of her current offerings.
Kelly Jo’s work blends her background in theater and poetry with her personal journey of healing and creative reclamation. She draws on body-based practices and emotional exploration—including her ongoing study with Adriana Rizzolo of Body Temple Dance and Gretchen Cohoon Blackmore learning the practice of Authentic Movement—to help others slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with what’s true. Whether through workshops, group circles, or one-on-one guidance, she holds space for those ready to rediscover their creative spark and find their way home to themselves.
YOUR CREATIVITY IS SACRED. RECLAIM IT.
