Gwendolin Lewis is a Newcastle based painter working from her studio in Mayfield NSW

Gwendolin writes
"My Artistic Journey"
Mark making and gestural drawing as much as actual painting is what I love to do. I use SOFT PASTEL in my work, as it is a drawing medium. Soft pastels have a brilliance and beauty unique to the medium, and one stroke of color inspires the next. My subject matter is chosen based on my personal experiences in nature and the vivid memories of colors that have left a lasting impression on me.
My technique involves layering and expressive mark making, resulting in artworks that are multi-dimensional and unique. My artistic journey has allowed me to hone my skills and develop a style that is my own.
My goal as an artist is to convey the breathtaking beauty of nature in a way that is both captivating and emotional. It is my hope that through my art, viewers are able to experience the same sense of connection to the natural world that inspires me every day.

You can also pay in person at the venue if you are attending at Mount Waverley.
