Scottish Half and Various Races 2025

Join Team JDRF and fundraise for us by taking part in an organised Scottish race throughout the year.

Sign up to Team JDRF and we will support you with:

• JDRF running vest
• Fundraising pack with lots of hints and tips to maximise your fundraising
• Regular contact with JDRF staff to help and encourage you in the lead up to the event
• Welcome from JDRF staff and volunteers at the marathon & half marathon finish area to celebrate your achievement!

Whether this is your first race or you are an experienced runner, we hope that you can raise lots of money for us so we can continue funding life-changing type 1 diabetes research and supporting people living with type 1.

We have to cover certain admin fees to cover charity places. This is why we ask for a small admin charge to cover our costs.

Up to a 10K: £15

Half Marathon or more: £20

To secure your place with us you need to do the following:

Step 1: Pay your non-refundable registration fee to us by clicking the orange register button.

Step 2: Visit the Webpage of the race you want to enter and apply for a JDRF place.

(If you have already completed this step then you should get confirmation of your place shortly.)

Step 3: Set up your Just Giving page here

Step 4: Join the Scotland JDRF running groups on Facebook and Strava. It is a great way to get advice on training and share how you are getting on with your training and fundraising. You can join them here: JDRF Scotland Running Club  Running @ JDRF Scotland | Facebook 

The moment you have your race entry and have paid your registration fee here we will send you a running pack full of information, with lots of ideas on how to raise as much money as possible. We would ask that you commit to raising a minimum amount of sponsorship :

• Up to a half Marathon: £200
• Marathon or more: £300
