Join us for a group lesson for adult women who want to learn to ride in a traffic-free environment
A group cycling lesson for adult women that would like to learn to ride in a quiet, traffic free environment. The lesson will focus on key cycling skills: starting with balance, learning to steer, and braking. Depending on the needs of the group, we can also work on observing other road users, and signalling. This lesson will suit any women who have not ridden before, or would like to improve their basic riding skills.
The lesson will last one hour and will be limited to ten participants. You can borrow a bike from us, or bring your own. All you will need is weather appropriate clothing, and some water and snacks to fuel you during the session.
MEETING POINT: Women in Tandem workshop ( click here for directions )
TIME: meet at 9.45am ready to start at 10am.
This lesson is led by Emily, a fully qualified Bikeability instructor, and supporter by regular ride leader Abi.
