Join us for a group lesson for adult women who want to build their skills and confidence riding on roads.
A group cycling lesson for adult women that would like to build their confidence riding on roads. We will meet in a traffic free area, move on to quiet roads, and build up to areas with more traffic. The lesson will focus on four key road cycling skills: communication, observation, priorities and positioning. We will work at a pace the group feels comfortable with, aiming to keep us in the stretch zone, not stress zone! Riding will take place on a variety of roads so we can practice cycling through a wide range of different situations. This lesson will suit any women who would like to build road cycling confidence, and to know how to cycle safely and assertively following the Highway Code.
The lesson will last two hours and will be limited to ten participants. You can borrow a bike from us, or bring your own. All you will need is weather appropriate clothing, and some water and snacks to fuel you during the session.
