Immy, with Eleanor McGregor, Matt McCarthy and Alex Hale

We are very excited to announce that we'll be hosting Cornwall-via-Bristol queero softie rock whirlwind Immy at The Grove on 23rd May!

Introduced to us by the lovely folks at Breakfast Records, Immy has released a handful of brilliant singles which we think are reminiscent of acts like Dr Dog, Grizzly Bear and The Walkmen (I always hate making these kind of comparisons but these are three bands I absolutely love and I now count Immy amongst them) and we're extremely pleased to have the opportunity to bring him and his band to Notts.

Support comes from Matt McCarthy and his band (who we recently saw and enjoyed at Fox Fest, the ever-brilliant Eleanor McGregor (who you already know is my favourite local singer-songwriter) and a rare solo outing by myself to open proceedings.
