Join us for a Latin dance social featuring timba, salsa, and bachata on Friday, August 8th from 6:30-10 pm!
Location: St. Barnabas Church, 262 Main St, Norwich, VT (rear parish hall, see "discussion" tab for a map)
Intermediate casino switch class from 6:30-7 pm (must have experience leading and following basic casino moves)
Beginner casino/rueda de casino class from 7-7:45 pm
Open dancing until 10 pm!
$15, includes classes and food (such as Ramunto's pizza - including veg and GF options, snacks, and drinks)
Casino is an elegant and energetic partner dance that originated in Cuba in the 1950s from son, chachachá, and danzón. Rueda de casino is a fun and dynamic group dance that involves switching partners and performing moves in unison according to a caller.
Join us for a fun and friendly dance! No partner needed, beginners welcome. Please bring clean shoes and water.
