Ready to delve into the captivating world of bonsai?
The Norwalk Tree Alliance invites you to a hands-on workshop in which you will create your own bonsai tree. This class is scheduled for Saturday, June 7th, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Fodor Farm Pavilion on Flax Hill Road in Norwalk, Connecticut.
This workshop will be led by Saeko Oshiro and Susan Simmons. Students will work on Ficus Microcarpa – which is a tropical/indoor tree suitable for bonsai creation. Saeko Oshiro was the Bonsai Artist at Shanti Bithi for 25 years and Susan's started her bonsai journey in 1985 with Yuji Yoshimura.
This is a unique opportunity to learn and experience the art of bonsai. Discover the tranquility and creativity this ancient practice offers.
All materials will be provided.
Workshop fee is $130.00.

Bonsai Care and Best Practices Class.
Time: 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm (after workshop)
Place: Fodor Farm Pavilion
This class will focus on basic bonsai care and best practices. Susan will lead the class with time for questions and answers.
Class Fee: $30.00
(If you are a Workshop Student you may attend this class with no fee.)
