Join ceramic artist and educator Justine Stokes of Stokes Studio & Co for a hands-on creative experience where you’ll shape, carve, and personalize your very own ceramic lantern—an object that not only brings warmth and light into your home, but also reflects your unique creative spark.

Whether you're a seasoned artist or a total beginner, this workshop invites you to slow down, connect with the calming medium of clay, and let your imagination take the lead. Justine will guide you through the basics of ceramic hand-building in a welcoming, relaxed environment.

What to Expect:🖐 Hands-on instruction in shaping and carving your lantern🎨 Choose from a curated selection of glaze colors🔥 Justine will glaze and kiln-fire your piece off-site after the workshop📦 Pick up your finished lantern at Nest on Main 10 days after the workshop (Thursday, September 4th)

All materials provided except an apron. Just bring an apron, your best friend, and maybe a bottle of wine!

About the Artist: Justine Stokes is a painter and ceramic artist with extensive experience teaching students of all ages throughout New York City and Long Island. Her workshops are known for being inspiring, accessible, and a whole lot of fun.
