Beginner Crochet-a-Scarf Class with Amanda of Creative Retreat

All attendees will learn how to crochet, read patterns, learn about various crochet hooks and yarn weights. During this class each attendee will construct a scarf. This is beginner crochet class, no experience is necessary. Yarn, crochet hook and pattern will be provided. Attendees may require more time to complete projects at home. The yarn, crochet hook and pattern will be given to students to take home after the workshop. Available yarn colors may vary per class due to supply and demand. Ages 14+

Amanda was born, raised, and currently resides in Northport. She has a BSN in Apparel & Textiles from Oneonta State University, as well as an associate's degree in Fashion Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology. On top of her creative studies, she received a BSN in Nursing at Adelphi University and currently works as a registered nurse. Amanda is still very passionate about art, and she also teaches the Mandala Art Dot Classes at the Nest.
