Our mission is to encourage lifelong choral singing, by creating a space where singers of all ages and backgrounds can collaborate, grow, and perform together. Colorado Treble Festival participants receive music to three treble choral pieces in advance. On Festival day, we will gather for a day-long workshop of these songs, followed by a collaboration concert.
Open Invitation:
This festival is open to all high school, college, and adult treble-voiced singers. Younger experienced choral singers are welcomed on a case-by-case basis - contact Safonia below for more information. Under the direction and guidance of Christa Fredrickson, MM, participants will collaborate with Safonia and other talented local treble choirs in a full day of singing and collaborative concert.
Workshop:
Our morning and afternoon workshop will focus on improving choral techniques and perfecting three festival collaboration pieces. You'll have the opportunity to bond with like-minded treble singers and take your skills to the next level.
What are we singing?
CTF 2025 will feature women composers.
We will be featuring the music of Elain Hagenberg this year. The three festival collaboration pieces that all festival registrants will perform together are:
Measure Me, Sky!
O Love
By Night
Registration Details:
The registration fee is $35 for adults and $15 for students which will provide singers with sheet music, a pencil, part tracks, and lunch. Newcomers will also need to purchase a festival t-shirt. Registration prices will increase on April 1st.
