About the event

Bows, Strings & Contentment Summer Concert
The Bows, Strings & Contentment Orchestra will present a concert titled “Music from American Roots” on Sunday, June 15 beginning at 7:00 pm at the Grand Event Center in Northfield. Several musical genres will be featured including blues, jazz, R&B, bluegrass, Broadway, and more. Small ensembles and vocal soloists will round out the program. Soloists will be Barb Piper, Pauline Jennings and Tesfa Wondemagegnehu.

Bows, Strings & Contentment Orchestra was founded in 2023 by Laura Geissler (conductor), Peter Stegner (business manager) and Laurie Stegner (music arranger).

The Grand Event Center is located at 316 Washington Street, Northfield. Doors open at 6:00 pm and dining will be available from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

This is a free family-friendly event. Donations appreciated!
