Headlining the evening is Matty Groves and the Magical Speckled Band: a kaleidoscopic seven-piece ensemble performing selections from Groves’ debut Aurelia, alongside fresh material from his new record. Expect a hallucinogenic journey through sound, with a vivid blend of flutes, guitar, saxophone, organ, and more.
Groves’ music echoes the spirit of the late ’60s and early ’70s folk revival, drawing comparisons to the likes of Syd Barrett, early Pink Floyd, Nick Drake, and Mark Fry while offering a nostalgic yet entirely original sonic experience
