A Binding Truth Film Screening in Partnership with RAIN (RACIAL AWARENESS IN THE NORTH SHORE)

RAIN, in partnership with the Northbrook Library, is delighted to invite you and your friends to participate with nineteen other groups in the Chicagoland area to attend an exciting two-part event.

The first event is the screening of the award-winning 90-minute documentary A Binding Truth (description below) in person at Northbrook Public Library September 11 at 7pm or online September 10 - 16.

The second, follow-up event is an online Q&A with the film's principals Jimmie and De Kirkpatrick and the producer Louise Woehrle on Sunday, September 28 at 3 pm.

"A remarkable story of race, forgiveness, truth, and understanding as two former high school classmates with the same last name, Jimmie and De Kirkpatrick, realize their connection isn't simply a coincidence but instead harkens back to a shameful chapter of American history."

The library will send out the link for the Q&A to all those who registered to view the film.
