📚 Northbrook UMC Book Club
Join us for thoughtful reads and lively conversation!

Our book club meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM at a different host's home. Each month, a different member leads the discussion—but no pressure! You’re always welcome, even if you haven’t finished (or started!) the book.

We read a wide variety of books—mostly fiction with a little nonfiction mixed in. Past selections have included The Splendid and the Vile by Erik Larson, Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid, I Am Malala by Malala Yousafzai, and Have You Seen Luis Velez? by Catherine Ryan Hyde.

📖 We’re taking a short break for the summer. Our next meeting is Tuesday, September 10, where we’ll discuss the One Book One Northbrook selection: Symphony of Secrets by Brendan Slocumb.
