Parker McQueeney's Doomsday Devive

Parker McQueeney’s Doomsday Device keeps the tradition of the soul-jazz organ trio alive. Rounded out by pioneer valley heavy-hitters Ian Haas (drums) and Kurtis Guzik (guitar), the Doomsday Device channels the old school Hammond organ tradition—Jimmy McGriff, Dr. Lonnie Smith, etc., and refracts it forward and backwards through time, channeling wide-ranging influences from Ornette Coleman to Lefty Frizzell and J Dilla.
