Join us at our FREE yoga workshop series happening all summer long at the Northampton co-op! Each class will carry a specific theme focusing on different physical needs, stages of life, and self-care objectives, meaning there is something for everyone to enjoy! Everyone is welcome to participate in any classes they choose. Open to all skill levels. Please click the links in the descriptions below to register. This is an active slow-flow yoga class that is accessible to folks who are able to confidently get up and down from the mat. In this alignment-based slow-flow yoga class, we will explore how the body & breath move together as we play through a variety of yoga poses, including standing poses, backbends, twists and forward folds. Skillful body alignment will be a key focus as will developing our strength and flexibility. Please bring your own yoga mat and a blanket.

This class is based on physical postures, deep breathing, and mindfulness. It will focus on a combination of sustained poses as well as poses flowing in a mindful progression emphasizing core strength, flexibility, and balance.

• Increases stamina
• Releases tension and stress

Modifications will be provided. Open to beginners, intermediate, and advanced yoga students.

Through gentle poses, yogic breathing, chanting and deep observation, the practice opens the subtle natural energy (prana) within, to connect more intimately with our natural outer world.

As you relax, you will enjoy sound healing and beautiful live music performed by local musician Tommy Mac.

This gentle class will energize and align the pelvis, to help unlock the low back and legs. You will learn about the structures of the pelvis and how to get relief from sacrum and hip pain, pelvic floor dysfunction and sciatica. Our body is a pretext to gaining enlightened use of our minds.
