FREE International Day of Yoga Class

June 21st was declared as the International Day of Yoga by Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi after he received overwhelming support from 175 countries when he presented the idea to the UN General Assembly in December of 2014. This 6,000 year old practice now has a recognised as a date of appreciation.

The Yoga Movement has grown rapidly over the last 4 decades, spreading to every corner of the globe with 250+ Million people who practice yoga worldwide. This day is to help raise awareness of the may benefits yoga gives to all humans.

The theme of IYD 2025 is 'Yoga for One Earth, One Health'.

All Welcome to connect and celebrate the global benefits of yoga on June 21 @ 8am at Jezzine Barracks - Ryan Street - near the playground. BYO yoga mat or a large towel.

This class will be guided by Jasmine Healy-Pagán (yoga student since 1996 and teacher since 2005)
