Our club will be holding a long-range rifle match on the 1st Sunday of each month, May thru November. Here is your chance to shoot your rifle out to 200 meters. Military and sporting rifles may be used. Here is some info about the match. These matches are open to the public.
• Start Time, 9:00 am (Central Time Zone)
• Military and Sporting rifles, but no full autos and no .50 BMG.
• Most types of ammo, but no incendiary, armor piercing, exploding rounds, or steel core or steel sliver ammo. 25 rounds of ammo, minimum, for each entry.
• Targets: 5 targets at 50, 100, 150, and 200 meters. Shootoffs at 200 meters. Targets are hit or miss.
• Scopes and/or iron sights. If you have rifles with different sights, bring them. You can shoot in different categories; red dot, scope, and iron sights. You can also shoot different rifles in the same category. $10 per entry.
• Shooting positions: There are two shooting positions to choose from. If you want, you can enter multiple times and choose a different position.
o Bench
o Prone
o 3-Position
50 meters: Standing
100 meters: Kneeling or sitting
150 meters: Prone
200 meters: Prone
