Formerly Ladybug Day – now bigger, buggier, and better than ever!

Join us for Bugs & Blooms, Magnolia’s expanded summer celebration of the incredible creatures that call our gardens home. This beloved family event—formerly known as Ladybug Day—returns with even more hands-on learning opportunities, nature-based fun, and STEM activities for curious kids and their grown-ups.

While we’re no longer releasing ladybugs, we’re broadening our focus to highlight the rich biodiversity of the Lowcountry—from pollinators to reptiles, birds, worms, and beyond.

🎶 Dance to kid-friendly beats from DJ Jenny 🫧 Float through clouds of bubbles with the Bubble Lady 🎨 Sparkle with Glitter Girl’s enchanting body art 🌿 Play garden games, meet wildlife experts, and explore interactive discovery stations. Dress up as any bug or bloom for a treat!

It’s a joyful day of science, nature, and play—perfect for the whole family. Bring your wings & wonder!
